Hejsa.
Jeg vil lige fortælle lidt om min historie. Min far forlad mig og min dengang jeg var baby da han både er alkoholiker og dengang var han også stofmisbruger. Jeg er selv opvokset i godt miljø med masser af kærlighed. Men da årene gik blev jeg pludselig nysgerrig “Hvem er min far?” tænkte jeg. Da jeg blev 14 år tog jeg så kontakt til ham.
På det tidspunkt var han på et hjem i nykøbning falster hvor han blev behandlet med alkoholen. Jeg besøgte ham kort tids efter og der så jeg så allerede en masse ting som jeg slet ikke var vant til. Det skal siges at der også var mennesker på hjemmet som blev behandlet mod stoffer og andet. Så jeg så en masse forskellige typer mennesker. Men det betød ikke så meget dengang da jeg bare var glad for jeg endelig fik mødt min far.
Men det hele ændret sig hurtigt. Efter 3 gange jeg mødte ham. Begyndte han pludselig at spille “far”. Han sagde jeg skulle lave hans kaffe og andet for ham. Jeg tænkte hvorfor skulle jeg dog gøre det? Han har ikke været der for mig i alle de år! Men jeg var et fremmed sted med fremmede mennesker og et godt stykke hjemmefra så jeg havde svært ved at sige nej dengang.
Senere blev det så være da jeg fandt ud af han også drak på hjemmet. Nogen gang i mens jeg kom så drak han op til mange flasker vodka i mens jeg var der og sov bare så jeg blev efterladt med fremmed mennesker igen. Man tænker nok jeg burde sige det til min familie… Men dengang var jeg så glad for at jeg endelig fik mødt min far og jeg ville ikke miste hvad jeg havde fået allerede selvom mine grænser var blevet overtrådt stort mange gange.
Det værste var så da han fik mig til at smule noget alkohol ind for ham til hjemmet. Fordi de ville jo ikke tjekke mig. Jeg kan bare ikke se hvordan han kan finde på det? Hvad er der galt med ham? Hvordan kan man be sin søn om at gøre sådan nogen ting som om de er helt normale?…
Jeg begyndte så at holde en pause for at se ham da jeg var omkring 16 år. Pausen varede i et par måneder. Han var nu flyttet til at andet hjem i København som var et hjem hvor man boede nogen sammen men man skulle klare sig selv og derved komme tættere på samfundet osv. Men selv der hvor jeg fik kontakten med ham igen mente han stadig han skulle spille far og bede mig gøre alle mulige ting for ham. Men nu var jeg ældre så jeg sagde nej den her gang men han er en meget stædig person så nogen gange plagede han mig i rigtig lang tid indtil jeg sagde ja. Andre gange så gav han mig ting og brugte det mod mig så jeg skulle lave hans kaffe osv.
Desuden var hans drikkeri ikke overstået han drak stadig overholdte ikke vores aftaler og der var mange skuffelser for mit vedkommende. Han var ikke den far jeg regnede med.
Desuden har han lidt af en fortid som forbryder også(Bankrøver,hjemmerøver). Dog er han ikke det mere i dag. Men hans venner er stadig aktive. Nogen gange når jeg skulle være sammen med ham så kom han hjem til mig og sagde vi skulle hjem til hans venner. Selvom vi havde en anden aftale. Jeg gad ikke se hans venner. En af gangene skulle jeg med hans venner til aktionenen fordi de havde stjålet en lampe… Mine grænser er blevet overtrådt igennem årene stort uden jeg har vidst det 100 %.
I dag har jeg det elendigt. Den glade dreng jeg var da jeg var 14 med masser af venner og lysten til at lave alt muligt er blevet ændret til stor vrede og sorg. Jeg er næsten aldrig glad og ikke rigtigt motiveret til at gøre noget somhelst i mit liv. Jeg har mistet mange af mine gode venner og jeg har nu svært ved at få nye venner fordi jeg er blevet sådan en tilbageholdene person og mistet næsten alt min selvtillid.
Jeg ønsker tit at jeg aldrig mødte ham.
Jeg har fået snakket med min mormor. Som fortalte mig en masse kloge ting. Jeg har nu droppet kontakten med min far og skrevet han ikke skal kontakte mig. Min mormor kom frem til at mine grænser var blevet overtrådt stort på grund af jeg ikke var vant til sådan et miljø. Men jeg tænker også bare, hvis han virkelig var en god far så ville han aldrig havde sagt ja til at møde mig? Han er direkte ødelagt mit liv langsomt. Ændret min personlighed som jeg er bange for jeg aldrig får igen. Nogen gange føler jeg slet ikke livet er værd at leve når man kun har sorg og vrede og ikke kan være positiv på noget tidspunkt. Jeg kan ikke engang være mig selv i nærheden af min familie. Jeg har ikke rigtigt lyst til at drikke og ha’ det sjovt med mine venner og jeg har svært ved at møde til min skole om morgenen jeg har bare lyst til at være alene og lave ingenting.
Jeg ved ikke helt hvad jeg vil frem til… Men hvis der måske er nogen her som kan relatere eller noget ville det være rart at vidde hvad jeg skal gøre for at gevinde mig selv hvis det er muligt.
(Ps. Historien er fortalt meget kort der har været mange flere forskellige episoder jeg dog bare fortalt dem jeg synes var værst.)

Tak fordi du skriver herind og deler din historie med os. Det er rørende at læse om, hvordan du har været nysgerrig på at møde din far og lære ham at kende og om hvordan det gik, da han kom ind i dit liv. Det er smertefuldt at læse om de konsekvenser din fars korte visit i dit liv har haft, og jeg forstår godt at dine oplevelser med din far, har sat sine spor i dig. Nu har du brug for at blive dig selv igen. Jeg vil skrive lidt om, hvordan man måske kan forstå den sorg og vrede du føler og forsøge så godt jeg kan, at beskrive hvad jeg tror kan hjælp dig et skridt videre.
Det giver rigtig god mening, at du føler sorg og vrede lige nu. Jeg tænker sorgen er en sorg over, at erkende at du ikke har den far du kunne ønske dig. At du ikke har den far, du har brug for. I de år, hvor du ikke havde kontakt med ham, tænker jeg at du stadig havde et håb om, at I kunne få et godt forhold til hinanden. Da du så lærte ham at kende og fik en relation til ham, så var den alt andet en god. Han bestemte over dig og udnyttede dig – han viste sig ikke at være en god far for dig. Du ved nu, at han ikke er den far du har brug for og måske havde håbet på og drømt om. Dermed har du mistet håbet om en far, du kan have et givende forhold til. Man kan måske endda sige, at du har mistet din far, derfor er du i sorg. Selvom det er hårdt og gør ondt, så er det helt almindeligt og sundt at du reagerer med sorg.
Vreden giver i mine øjne også god mening. Du har lov til at være vred over, at din far ikke kunne finde ud af, at tage sig af dig. Og du har lov til, at være vred over, at din far sagde ja til at møde dig. Han passede ikke godt på dig. Fædre skal passe godt på deres sønner.
Jeg kan godt forstå, at de oplevelser du har haft med din far, har ændret dig. Det gør noget ved én, at opleve og erkende, at den far man har ikke er den far man har brug for. Det gør ondt, når ens far vælger at drikke, frem for at tage sig af én. Desværre er det sådan det er for dig. Det ved du nu. Og det skal du leve med. Spørgsmålet er, tænker jeg, hvad du kan gøre for, at sorgen og vreden ikke skal fylde hele dit liv. Hvordan du kan blive ‘dig selv’ igen, med de erfaringer du nu har. Kan man overhovedet blive glad igen med det du har oplevet?
Den glade dreng du var, da du var 14, var du blevet uden din far. Jeg gætter på, at du har en masse styrker, ressourcer og værdier som er uafhængige af din far. Du er for alvor blevet bevidst om nu, at du ikke kan bruge din far, på den måde som du gerne vil, det er en svær erkendelse og samtidig har du klaret dig det meste af dit liv uden ham. Du kán med andre ord godt selv. Du bestemmer selv, om det at din far ikke er der for dig, skal få lov at ødelægge resten af dit liv. Lige nu er du i sorg og vred på din far. Det er ok, det skal du give dig selv lov til. Mit bedste bud er, at du har brug for, at få bearbejdet din sorg og din vrede og brug for at få flere erfaringer med, at du kan klare dig i livet, også uden den far du ønsker dig. På en måde skal du lære at håndtere dén vedvarende sorg det ér, at leve med en far som ikke er der – selvom han ikke er død.
En måde at bearbejde sorgen og vreden på, og få redskaber til at leve med en vedvarende sorg er gennem terapi. Her i TUBA kan du gratis komme i forløb enten individuelt eller i gruppe med andre unge, som også oplever svigt pga. alkoholmisbrug.
